Under the Sea Art Session with Mermaids

Service Description

What is included? 2 hours of instruction 10:05 A different book will introduce our lesson every day. 10:10 Introduction to the lesson and mediums & techniques. (Studio Time 10:15 to 11:30) Clean Up (11:45 to Noon) The class will begin promptly at 10 am snack and water bottles are encouraged. Artists explore the shapes, textures and colors of seashells, starfish, and corals to create their own under-the-sea garden. Artists will use print-making techniques, work with model magic and create a magical mermaid to add to their colorful composition. Draw and paint a colorful under-the-sea landscape with fish, seaweed, and colorful creatures. Artists make choices to create their unique mermaids each with different hairstyles, costumes, decorative details and background elements. This project is great for new artists learning to draw and paint. Squish, pinch and sprinkle your way to fluorescent seashells, seastars and undersea treasures. Artists will create 3D seashells using model magic, sparkly embellishments and brilliant paints to create their own collection of sea shapes. Artists have the choice to add their shells to a bigger work of art or keep it as a stand-alone project. 1-week art session perks: Bring a friend Friday: Face Painting and Glitter tattoos.

Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy for Art Lessons: You may transfer your booked session to another student for any class missed. Refunds are issued upon request, or you may use it for future credit. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off. Booking Policy for Face Painting: Things happen I understand! I need at least 3 hours' notice if you are canceling the day of. *PLEASE DO NOT BOOK if a guest may potentially bring alcoholic beverages, I can refer you to someone else. I will not face paint in an environment that is not suitable for children. The deposit IS NOT refundable in the event that I have to leave for alcoholic beverages being available for guests or for music being played that is not appropriate for children at the event.
